How will you make an impact in this role
Global Sanctions is responsible for developing and maintaining an effective, risk-based enterprise-wide sanctions program that focuses on the following: Establishing enterprise minimum standards for sanctions, PEP, and risk list compliance Overseeing effective sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons, and risk list screening processes Conducting an enterprise-wide Sanctions Risk Assessment Developing and providing sanctions and PEP training Providing reporting and Key Risk Indicators Advising on acquisitions and new product development Leading program development and issue resolution, and advising management on regulatory changes.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be part of a team that focuses on governance, oversight, and management of the enterprise screening tool, Bridger Insight. The individual will be responsible for:
Provide platform access management support.
Support the enterprise screening tool, performing technical requirement changes through the Change Management Control (CMC) process.
Lead on requirements gathering and documentation for Bridger Administrator Change Management Control requests from stakeholders.
Provide oversight and support for Bridger platform implementation projects, liaising with Market & Line of Business Compliance as well as Business Unit project teams.
Provide platform support for internal/external audit and exam activities.
Liaise with Bridger Product Owner, American Express Technologies, and LexisNexis.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners across the organization.
Highlight risks/ challenges / observed in Bridger platform operations, escalate to leadership as necessary.
Highlight enhancement / efficiency opportunities within Bridger platform operations, escalate to leadership as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Familiarity with Bridger Insight XG preferred but not required
Agile Mindset and experience in using Agile tools such as Confluence desired
Strong project management skills and ability to drive business results
Ability to operate independently and proactively take initiative and be comfortable with less defined and rapidly changing business challenges
Exceptional organizational skills and enthusiasm for detail-oriented work
Ability to influence and drive results at all levels across the organization
Strong analytical and strategic skills - can make actionable recommendations based on aggregating different data sources
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
