  • Reporting

Under general direction, independently execute routine & intermediate transactions and resolve problems. Prepare and validate reports and maintain controls in alignment with internal policies and clients needs. Follow procedure documents to complete complex manual client reports in excel utilizing complex macros, pivot tables and functions within excel.

  • Stakeholder Interaction & Problem solving

Interface with internal and external personnel including senior operations staff, legal, relationship management, IT, brokers, custodians, portfolio managers, and/or traders to obtain information and resolve problems. Understand basic financial concepts and scenarios on when to use data types

  • Self-Initiated Research

Enhance understanding of Principal Global Investors products, team procedures, and clients needs through self-initiated research, participation in available training programs and involvement in on-going investment activities.

  • Other Project related activities

Perform Other Job-related Duties Or Special Projects As Required.

Qualifications

Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers; operate in an ethical manner in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, the company's Corporate Code of Ethics, employee handbook, applicable compliance and operations policies and procedures, and other policies of the company. Possess a high degree of integrity and actively cooperate and interact with all entities of the Principal Financial Group.

  • At least 15 years of formal education, preferably in Finance/Commerce.
  • Minimum of 2-3.5 years Account/Finance/Client Reporting experience in the domain of Mutual Funds/Asset Management, or any other financial services organization. Excellent knowledge of Excel/Advanced Excel is essential.
  • Understanding of database structures, experience with Power BI and writing/editing macros.
  • Hands on documentation, making SOP and willingness to work in multiple shifts.
  • Good comprehension skills, analytical skills, good typing skills, detail-oriented, multitasking, ability to prioritize, good written & verbal communication skills, experience in navigating the internet. Ability to work on different applications.
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, proactive attitude.
  • Consistently able to meet timing requirements and maintain SLA and produce work with high degree of accuracy.
