Analyst- Cash application
Summary:
The Analyst - Cash Application is responsible for overseeing the month-end closing process for cash accounting, ensuring accuracy across all bank account transactions. This role involves advanced research and resolution of unreconciled and outstanding items in bank reconciliations, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The Analyst will lead initiatives for process optimization, support and mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with the Team Lead on strategic projects
Responsibilities Include:
Key Tasks and Deliverables:
- Lead the preparation and posting of daily cash activities and Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Oversee and review the reconciliation of suspense GL accounts, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
- Supervise daily cash postings, including vendor payments and customer receipts, ensuring adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
- Post, reconcile, and review intercompany loan transactions, applying strong audit and accounting practices to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Lead intercompany DTDF balance reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank accounts and validate balances
- Close interaction with Europe Treasury department and Transactional work with the Integrity Treasury cash management system
- Prepare monthly assigned balance sheet accounts reconciliation
- Participate in cross-functional team projects.
- Support internal/external customers by providing timely response to their queries.
- Build a good relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth month-end and annual close for AR
- Experience in VAT, payroll process & Blackline system will be added an advantage

- Support the Team Lead with audit preparation, reporting requirements, and special finance projects, and act as a backup when required.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and responsibility for goal accomplishment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
- B.com (H) or equivalent
- 8-10 years accounting/finance experience
- Good knowledge of accounts receivable process with an expertise in cash & bank reconciliation process, experience with bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.
- High level of competency with computer software including Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail.
