Title: Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer (Preferred candidate from Mumbai location only)
Job Purpose
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our growing Real Estate Data team. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade Power BI data models and reports that support strategic decision-making across the global Real Estate platform. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI and SQL with a deep understanding of data modeling principles and a proactive, business-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI semantic models and reports
- Build and optimize data models using best practices
- Partner with stakeholders across the global Real Estate team to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver data-driven solutions
- Write efficient SQL queries to source and transform data from enterprise data warehouses
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reports
- Improve existing reporting workflows and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency
- Assist with project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of strategic data initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; advanced degree is a plus
- 24 years of hands-on experience developing in Power BI and SQL
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
- Experience building interactive reports and semantic models
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, or modern data warehouse environments is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams
