Introduction to the Team (APAC Analytics and Insights CoE)
The team APAC Analytics and Insights CoE provides insights into four major business units (Audit & Assurance, Technology & Transformation, Strategy, Risk & Transactions, and Tax & Legal) and their agile culture. These business units significantly contribute to overall revenue. The goal is to establish a culture that prioritizes important regional aspects and aligns with Deloitte's priorities. This culture enables employees to act on regional opportunities that may require support.
Role Overview: APAC Analytics and Insights CoE
The Industry and Account Program identifies the performance of Priority Accounts and Industries on Pipeline, Sales and Net service Revenue and planning allocations through interactive Tableau dashboards
We are looking for a high-performing
Analyst to support AP Growth Initiatives. This role will coordinate with the AP Growth and Global Consulting Programs, conduct data download, analysis, reports, dashboards support for leadership decisions, and manage the program's analytics and insights generation on Excel, PPT, Tableau and Power BI.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyst- APAC Analytics and Insights CoE
Data Analysis
- Download and cleanse large & complex datasets to prepare them for business intelligence (BI) consumption.
- Apply analytical techniques to identify abnormalities and trends in data.
- Track and analyze performance metrics (pipeline, sales, Net Service Revenue, funding) for priority accounts and sectors using robust data analysis.
- Develop, conceptualize, and track new KPIs based on client requirements.
- Analyze current and past trends related to various KPIs, communicating insights to leadership.
- Proactively investigate business performance drivers and suggest efficiency and productivity improvements.
Dashboarding & Data Visualization
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize account performance, track pipeline, sales, and showcase KPIs.
- Manage and implement change requests for operational and analytical enhancements.
- Use Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and MS Access to create, store, and organize analytic databases.
- Present data-driven narratives and actionable recommendations by create Reports, Dashboards, Presentations and Insights in Excel, PPT, Tableau and Power BI.
Business Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate actively with business stakeholders, understanding their objectives and effectively managing expectations periodically and on an Ad-hoc basis.
- Regularly provide meaningful, actionable insights and recommendations, leveraging Salesforce and other analytical tools.
- Set-up class with clients, note action items and turn them into action items
- Manage track and present progress to stakeholders
- Create and maintain SoP documents and Project planners in MS Office

The Analytics & Insights CoE team in Hyderabad supports Deloitte in the AP Region with financial reporting, data quality, analytics, PMO, market research, and more. We also manage opportunities pipeline and pursuit management.
APAC Analytics & Insights CoE oversees consulting priorities, providing comprehensive information on pipelines and pursuits for efficient management of key opportunities in the ASIA PACIFIC region.
Additionally, we have other CoEs offering finance system support, IT services, business intelligence, risk management, and client contract management.
Our goal is to foster a culture that prioritizes regional importance and aligns with Deloitte's priorities, empowering our people to act on critical opportunities.
Key Skills Required:
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Interest in and proficiency with data handling and data analysis
- Strong abilities in data download, analysis, reporting, dashboard creation, KPI design, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with data cleansing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and making data BI-ready.
- Familiarity with financial and operational metrics relevant to priority accounts and industry sectors.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Excel; skills in Power BI, Tableau and Salesforce dashboarding are advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across the region
- Timely delivery of work and proficient in conducting data audits to ensure accuracy
- Able to work autonomously with high self-motivation to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Constructive interaction with team members to contribute towards the achievement of common goals
- Commitment to self-development, understanding of own strengths and weaknesses, self-confidence, and a sound work ethic
Qualifications
Required
- Graduation in Accounting, Finance, or HR
- 1-3 years in business operations and data analysis
- Proficiency in MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Preferred
- Proficient in MS-Office Suite
- Experience in multi-geography coordination or project management
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau, SQL preferred
