Job Title: Analyst, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights

The Purpose Of Your Role

Fidelity's Fraud Risk and Control (FRC) organization is seeking a Fraud Data Analyst to develop and support our fraud response and reporting initiatives. Fraud Risk and Control, within Enterprise Cyber Security, is responsible for preventing, detecting, and responding to fraud incidents across the entire Fidelity enterprise. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, to develop fraud loss and performance reporting that will drive risk mitigation, optimize decision strategies, and support cross-functional product and engineering initiatives. The role also has opportunities to provide analytics support to investigation of ongoing major fraud incidents.

The Team

Fraud Analytics is part of Fraud Risk & Control and plays a critical role in the protection of Fidelity assets from account takeover, account owner fraud and identity theft. The Fraud Analytics team works together with the Cyber Fraud Fusion Center and Investigation Teams as well as business partners across the Enterprise.

The Value You Deliver

  • In this role, your focus will be on building fraud reporting capabilities to define and monitor key risk indicators related to loss reduction, control efficacy, detection strategy and fraud operational efficiency.
  • Build fraud reporting, collect data to support KPIs, and identify fraud trends/patterns and detection efficacy through analytics.
  • Support development of capabilities for predictive models and forecasting tools for fraud loss, customer service demand, and fraud detection.
  • Leverage analytics to identify enhancement opportunities and more granular insights that can be acted upon, while ensuring adherence to fraud policy.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and finance teams to drive data-driven decision-making and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Create self-service analytics tools and dashboards to empower business users and reduce manual reporting efforts.

Required Skills

The Skills that are Key to this Role

  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, AWS, A/B testing, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and finance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk governance frameworks.

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, and risk management.
  • Proven success in delivering reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Exposure to risk and fraud strategy, personalization, payment optimization, and forecasting.
  • Experience with fraud loss forecasting models, fraud detection tools, and customer engagement analytics is a plus.

Shift timings: Mostly Business as Usual, few times you will work during weekend and off Business hours for escalation.
