Job Description

Hiring Principal Analog Circuit Design Engineer with strong expertise in Power Management ICs (PMICs)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 15+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Analog Design Engineer (10+ years, Master's preferred) to join the Power Business Unit and work on PMICs, linear and switching DC-DC converters for next-generation mobile and handheld devices. The role involves end-to-end IC development, from architecture and block design to silicon validation and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and own complex analog IPs such as charge pumps, LDOs, oscillators, temperature sensors, current sense, SAR ADCs, bandgap, op-amps, comparators, and protection circuits.
  • Architect and implement control loops and compensation strategies for switching converters (Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost).
  • Translate top-level chip requirements into block specifications and perform error budgeting.
  • Work closely with layout teams from floorplanning to chip completion.
  • Use standard design, simulation, and extraction tools, optimizing pre/post-layout performance.
  • Support silicon bring-up, debugging, validation, and production ramp.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead small design teams.
  • Define ESD/LU protection strategies and ensure high-quality silicon delivery.

Qualifications

  • B.E./M.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of analog IC design experience with full IP ownership
  • Strong background in analog design, verification, silicon debug, and production support
  • Proven team leadership and mentoring skills.
