TI is an industry leader in Analog, with Linear Amplifiers Business being one of the most successful and profitable segments with an extremely strong market presence. Our group supports 3 product lines in the Linear Amplifier BU, creating stand-alone products for many different end-equipment in the diversified market using CMOS and Bipolar technology.

These are teams that have released diverse products from general purpose amplifiers to comparators to amplifiers whose bandwidths runs into GHz. We constantly strive to push process, packaging and performance in various vectors to get the maximum entitlement for our product lines. This is a team with a proven track record of having developed quality products for TI including the Industry's smallest amplifier.

About the Job:

You will get an opportunity to lead and showcase your analog domain expertise, and build an in-depth understanding through innovation in design and layout to create leading edge products while striking the right balance needed.

You will get to own complete products with end to end responsibilities, right from working with the systems team to analyse product feasibility, architecting and design, to its delivery for production. This is a role where there is scope to exhibit leadership, technical expertise and mentoring skills.

Job Expectations:

  • Wide range of circuit designs that could involve low power, high voltage, high speed, low cost, high power and even precision.
  • Developing circuit architecture for the chip starting from datasheet/system specifications
  • Develop block level specifications based on full chip architecture
  • Ownership of full chip design & layout activities including schedule planning and tracking
  • Developing chip schematics and engaging in design and verification
  • Guiding and supporting layout and test developments
  • Ability to take initiative and drive for results
  • Mentoring on technical and execution aspects to younger engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Silicon Debug, assisting in characterization and qualification support.
  • Opportunity to grow into a product portfolio lead and influence several amplifier developments.

Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's Degree in EE

Experience : 5-12 years

Expected Skill Set:

  • Good Analog Fundamentals and problem solving with in-depth knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts like mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power and low-noise techniques.
  • Solid understanding and experience of designing linear circuit blocks including Bandgap, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, comparators.
  • Experience in handling the complexities of full chip level, including aspects such as ESD.
  • Experience in silicon debug, reviewing analog block as well as full chip layouts.
  • Good understanding of the cadence tools.
  • Good mentoring, communication, presentation skills and team work.
  • Experience in product delivery with strong planning and tracking skills.
  • Experience in managing people would be an added advantage, although not a must.
