A high-quality provider in the Healthcare sector delivering tertiary and perioperative services across hospitals and surgical centres in India. We focus on safe, evidence-based anaesthesia care, perioperative medicine for multi-specialty surgical programs. Primary job title (standardized): Anaesthesiologist.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centred anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgeries across adult and paediatric populations, including obstetrics and orthopaedics.
- Plan and perform general, neuraxial and regional anaesthesia.
- Lead airway management and advanced resuscitation during induction, intraoperative care and perioperative crises; execute rapid sequence induction when required.
- Manage intraoperative haemodynamics, ventilatory support and blood product use; optimise analgesia and anaesthetic drug plans for complex comorbidities.
- Maintain accurate anaesthesia records, participate in morbidity and mortality reviews, clinical audits and ongoing quality-improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Valid medical registration with a State Medical Council
- Demonstrated competency in general anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia techniques
- Proficiency in airway management, including difficult airway protocols and rapid sequence induction
- Experience with ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia
- Clinical experience managing perioperative and critical care patients in OT environments
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Familiarity with perioperative protocols, infection control and anaesthesia safety checklists
