Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an AMISP Engineer (Smart Meter/MDM) located in South Delhi. The engineer will be responsible for the integration, configuration, and maintenance of Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Smart Meter systems. Day-to-day tasks include managing deployment processes, monitoring data management systems (MDM), troubleshooting connectivity issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also requires analyzing system performance to optimize efficiency and provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience with AMI systems, Smart Meter integration, and Meter Data Management (MDM).
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting connectivity, monitoring system performance, and implementing upgrades or fixes.
  • Familiarity with grid management technologies, demand response systems, and energy analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, tools, and communication protocols such as IoT, DLMS/COSEM, or MQTT.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams effectively.
  • Understanding of industry standards, compliance requirements, and security protocols in energy systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • Prior experience in the energy utilities or smart grid sector is highly desirable.
