Job Description

. Strong knowledge and awareness on regulations related to End-of-life vehicle, Li-ion battery, Plastic & E-waste recycling

. Implementation of Li-ion battery recycling and develop efficiency improvement through various sources

. Secondary life utilization of EOL batteries and methods to reduce carbon footprint

. Manage and control of Substance of Concern (SOC) through IMDS (International Material Data System) platform

. Perform RRR &SOC Calculations for vehicle as per standards

. Monitor and circulate information related to Upcoming Environmental Regulations

. Awareness & Training to Suppliers and internal teams for SOC Management

Competencies / Skills

. Well versed with regulations related to Battery Waste Management, Automotive Indian standards, EU ELV guidelines for material recycling and hazardous substance control

. Basic knowledge of Raw Materials specific to automobiles

. Strong MS Office operations (esp. MS Excel. PowerPoint)

. Basic technical knowhow on material standards (ISO, JIS, DIN, IS) related to lab testing

. Good communication skills & Ability to handle challenging situations

. Openness & positive attitude

Specific Expertise for Functional area

. Having experience in Automobile or related Industry or manufacturing or Research Institute/Lab

. Experience in testing of substances of concern (e.g. heavy metals, POPs etc.)

. Preferable experience in LCA calculation models and tools

. Preferableworking experience on analytical equipment like XRD, ICP, ED-XRF, optical microscope (preferably polarized light microscope), GCMS/HPLC/LCMS & result interpretation
