Educational Qualification:

.BE/B Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering (Tier-1 College)

Years of experience:

.As per the Hiring norms for AM level with B.Tech Education

Nature of experience:

.Knowledge of Casting, forging, Metallurgy process (Heat Treatment Process like Carburizing, Carbonitriding, Magnesium Treatment, Welding Process) of Ferrous and Aluminum parts.

.Understanding of Engine, Transmission parts i.e. Crank Shafts, Conrods, Camshafts, Piston, Valves, Gears, Shifter Shafts, Forks and & their QA / SQA related controls

.Line parts quality concern analysis & countermeasure implementation

Industry preference:

.Automobile Industry (4-wheeler / LCV / 2-Wheeler) & Electrical, Electronics OEMs, Non-MSIL Suppliers.

KRAs

.Process Audit, Inspection & Evaluation of Supplier Parts

.Line parts quality concern analysis & countermeasure implementation

.New Initiative for Quality part Development (defect free parts development)

.Capability & skill development

Competencies/ Skills:

.Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (Casting, Forging, Machining, Assembly, Plastic and Rubber molding- mechanical)

.Ability to set up capable processes. Should be well versed with quality control techniques like SPC, MSA, & 7 QC tools)

.Defect analysis capability for resolving quality problems and can provide solution to the vendors.

.Ability to set up processes with required automation, Auto Inspection, Poka-Yoke etc.

.Knowledge of measurements, measuring like Vernier, micrometers, Height gauge, Hardness tester, Eddy Current Tester, Nodularity Tester and performance test like SST, leak test etc.

.Exposure in new model development process & Quality systems (ISO/TS/IATF, applicable standards (IS / JIS / JASO etc.)

.Working Knowledge of Tools / Dies & various inspection aids (gauges /Jigs / Fixtures / Test Rigs, etc.)

Other Requirements:

.Computer environment proficiency is essential for proper Documentation, presentation and its data retrieval. (MS office)
