This is a full-time on-site role for an Aluminium Formwork Engineer located in Chennai. The role involves designing, developing, and managing aluminium formwork systems for diverse construction projects. Responsibilities include collaborating with project teams for efficient formwork planning, creating and reviewing structured designs, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and delivering cost-effective and optimized solutions for large-scale construction. The engineer will play a pivotal role in the implementation of innovative formwork technologies.

• Proficiency in designing and managing aluminium formwork systems and understanding advanced construction methodologies such as tunnel formwork.
• Expertise in structural analysis, precast structure design, and formwork-related manufacturing and implementation processes.
• Ability to analyze, optimize, and resolve design complications using KAIZEN and other cost-saving strategies.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills with attention to intricate structural details.
• Knowledge of construction safety and quality standards, as well as project management practices.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution; postgraduate degree from reputable universities such as IIT is considered an advantage.
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in the construction or formwork industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective coordination across teams.
