Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Operations Engineer with strong expertise in Alteryx Server administration to support complex, large-scale infrastructure initiatives. This role involves working on multi-faceted systems operations challenges, requiring deep technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring stability, performance, and security of the Alteryx platform and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Alteryx Server components including Gallery, Worker, and Controller.
- Install, configure, and maintain ODBC drivers across environments.
- Perform Windows Server administration tasks including managing services, event logs, and registry settings.
- Configure and support authentication mechanisms such as Active Directory (AD), LDAP, SAML, and OAuth.
- Manage and optimize Alteryx System Settings for performance and reliability.
- Work with MongoDB for Alteryx Gallery persistence and backend support.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across infrastructure and applications.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell (preferred).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Provide technical consultation and support to stakeholders and internal teams.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx Server administration (Gallery, Worker, Controller).
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration.
- Experience with ODBC driver installation and configuration.
- Understanding of authentication protocols (AD/LDAP, SAML, OAuth).
- Knowledge of MongoDB and its use in Alteryx environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and systems operations best practices.
- Exposure to enterprise data platforms and BI tools.
