Who we are looking for

The Alternatives Business Solutions organization is recruiting a Vice President - Data Analyst to support the Data Management Lead on a global basis. This role focuses on shaping and delivering Alternatives data products and capabilities, working in close partnership with Product, Global Delivery (Operations), Technology, Architecture, and Enterprise Data teams. The role has accountability across:

  • Core data domains
  • Client and enterprise data delivery channels (APIs, reports, portals)
  • Logical and canonical data models aligned to the Alternatives operating model
  • Cloudnative data platforms and analytics capabilities
  • Evolution from reporting toward insightdriven use cases

What you will be responsible for

  • Contribute to and execute the data strategy for Alternatives, ensuring alignment to business objectives and client needs.
  • Lead delivery of data model, partnering with Technology, Architecture, Operations, and Enterprise Data Management across:
  • Logical and canonical data models aligned to servicing workflows for Alternatives
  • Adoption of relevant industry standards and internal enterprise models
  • Data channels and products: Act as Product Owner for Alternative data products, including APIs, client reporting, and servicing portals. Ensure alignment between Alternatives capabilities, data models, and client or operational use cases.
  • Support and embed data governance and quality practices across data assets, including ownership, lineage, and quality metrics, in line with enterprise policy.
  • Work closely with Technology teams through iterative delivery cycles to ensure solutions meet architectural standards and are fit for purpose.
  • Enable improvements in Alternatives operational transparency and efficiency through dashboards, controls, and exception reporting, partnering with Operations and Technology.
  • Support management of data related risks, issues, and audit items within Alternatives, escalating where appropriate.
  • Present updates and outcomes to senior stakeholders as required and lead defined initiatives or workstreams.

Skills

  • Strong experience in data product development, data modelling, analytics, and visualization.
  • Good understanding of the Alternatives domains and servicing lifecycle, with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
  • Solid analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to communicate data concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering change in complex, regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of modern data management, BI, dashboarding, and visualization approaches.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills within global, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working with Agile or hybrid delivery models.
  • Experience with business and system process modelling.
  • Familiarity with industry integration patterns supporting Middle Office

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically 8+ years experience within Securities Services or Financial Services, with exposure to Alternatives, or adjacent asset servicing domains.
  • Experience in Product, Data, or Business roles with responsibility for delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience operating across regions and working with global stakeholders.
  • Background in data and technology, with familiarity across platforms and tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake, BI/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma), and data governance tooling (e.g., Collibra).
  • Consultative mindset with a client and service orientation.
  • Experience delivering data solutions and addressing data integration challenges.

  • Data solutions that support client servicing, operational efficiency, and reporting needs.
  • Appropriate governance and handling of datarelated risks and issues.

  • Market / Client interaction and stakeholder engagement: 15%
