Seeking an Algorithm Engineer to join a high-performing team developing advanced ML, DL, computer vision, and image-processing algorithms for cutting-edge inspection and metrology applications. The role involves building innovative algorithmic solutions, optimizing model performance, and collaborating with global engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning, deep learning, and image-processing workflows.
- Evaluate and improve training datasets, model performance, and algorithm efficiency.
- Analyze complex systems, formulate mathematical solutions, and extract meaningful insights from noisy images.
- Compare and benchmark different ML/DL model architectures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across product lifecycle stages.
- Define performance specs and deliver solutions meeting production requirements.
- Support product demos, beta evaluations, and customer engagements (occasional travel up to 20%).
Required Skills & Experience- 25 years of experience in:
- Algorithm development
- Computer Vision
- Image Processing
- C++ (minimum 2 years)
- Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Linux, OOP, and version-control tools.
- Experience working in a product-based environment (current or past).
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Stable career history (minimum 2 years tenure per organization preferred).
Education Criteria
- PhD (0 years exp acceptable if from Tier-1 institute), or
- Master's with 3 years experience, or
- Bachelor's with 5 years experience.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in pattern recognition, signal enhancement, or advanced ML workflows.
- Exposure to global engineering teams, customer-facing environments, or beta support.
