Air Logistics Perishables Development Manager

Drive and grow the perishables product by developing and executing strategies to acquire and retain customers. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen market position, ensure operational excellence, and deliver sustainable profitability.

How you create impact

• Align the local perishables product strategy with regional objectives while tailoring it to meet local market dynamics.
• Establish and strengthen a dedicated operational framework for perishables within Customer Care and Operational Care locations (CCL & OCC), building deep product expertise and targeting zero operational failures for temperature-sensitive cargo.
• Own and manage the product's profitability, with full accountability across the P&L, including proactive identification and resolution of financial discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local carriers, ensuring access to effective escalation channels and service reliability.
• Lead local perishables pricing strategy in close coordination with regional teams to remain competitive and profitable.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the local market and proactively drive capability building through training programs, marketing initiatives, and customer-facing presentations.

What we would like you to bring

• Strong ownership of Gross Business Unit (BU) sales engagement, with the ability to actively drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall revenue growth within the perishables segment.
• In-depth understanding of the local and regional perishables market, including customer behavior, trade lanes, seasonality, and competitive landscape.
• Proven expertise in perishables pricing, with the ability to develop competitive, market-aligned pricing strategies while safeguarding margins and profitability.
• Well-rounded knowledge of the end-to-end perishables supply chain, including temperature-controlled logistics, handling requirements, regulatory considerations, and operational best practices.
• Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies, supporting both commercial success and operational excellence.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across sales, operations, carriers, and regional teams.
