Position: AIF Sales Manager
Job Purpose :
We are seeking a seasoned, high-octane sales professional to lead the growth of our In-house Category II AIF. This is an individual contributor role designed for a hunter with a deep understanding of the unlisted equity space and a proven track record of managing ultra-high net-worth relationships. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the fundfrom initial pitching to successful deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Business Development: Drive the growth of our Category II AIF by identifying and onboarding HNI and UHNI investors.
End-to-End Ownership: Independently manage the entire sales cycle, including sophisticated product pitching, KYC/onboarding documentation, and capital call coordination.
Portfolio Management Support: Act as a bridge between the investment team and the client, ensuring smooth deployment of funds into unlisted opportunities.
Strategic Networking: Leverage your existing network of private wealth clients and family offices to build a high-quality AUM book.
Compliance & Excellence: Ensure all sales activities align with SEBI regulations and internal risk frameworks without requiring constant oversight or escalations.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of direct experience closing sales for Category II AIFs or PMS products.
AUM Track Record: Demonstrated ability to build and manage a book size of 50 Crores or more.
Subject Matter Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of equity markets, unlisted space, and the structural nuances of Cat II AIFs.
Network: An active and robust network of HNIs and UHNIs is essential.
Autonomy: Proven ability to work as an individual contributor. While the firm provides lead support, the ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can close deals independently.
