We are looking for a passionate and talented
Gen AI Video Editor proficient in Premiere Pro & DaVinci Resolve to join our Video Production Team as we continue to build India's gaming revolution. You will play a crucial role in producing, curating, and packaging high retention content to our games.
Role & Responsibilities
Video Editing & Storytelling
- Edit high-quality gameplay videos, trailers, and social media content that capture the excitement and personality of our games.
- Turn raw gameplay footage and creative ideas into compelling visual stories that engage players and fans.
- Ensure videos communicate the essence, energy, and unique identity of the game.
Platform-First Content Production
- Edit content optimized for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Discord and other short-form platforms.
- Understand pacing, hooks, and formats that work best for gaming audiences.
- Ensure videos are designed for engagement, shareability, and strong viewer retention.
Creative Production
- Play the game regularly to understand mechanics, moments, and updates.
- Capture gameplay footage and generate visual assets that can be used across marketing and social media content.
- Stay aligned with what the game team is building - upcoming features, content updates, and events. So that the videos reflect what players are experiencing in real time.
- Support capture sessions, shoots, and creative production when required.
- Keep track of trends and community conversations to ensure content stays relevant, timely, and engaging.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and ensure content ships on time.
AI-Enabled Creative Workflow
- Leverage generative AI tools to experiment with different visual styles, enhance edits, generate variations, and accelerate creative workflows.
- At the research stage use AI to trend scanning, competitor content analysis, identifying what hooks are working in gaming right now, before a single frame is touched
- Developing the script/narrative arc and not just generate captions, but structure the story, write the hook, decide the pacing beats before editing
- Generate visual assets: b-roll, transitions, concept art, thumbnails (this should accelerate your production and reduce creative dependencies.
- Use AI as a multiplier to improve speed, explore new creative directions, and push visual storytelling further.
What You Bring To The Table
- 13 years of experience in video editing (preferably from Gaming background or someone who plays a lot of games)
- Bonus: Familiarity with anime, gaming culture, or fan-driven content communities.
- Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience editing gameplay videos, trailers, or social media content.
- Ability to capture gameplay footage and generate content assets from the game.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and engaging video formats for gaming audiences and respective social media platforms.
- Ability to experiment with stylized, high-energy visual storytelling and dynamic edits depending on the project.
- Familiarity with internet culture, gaming content styles, and short-form video trends.
- Experience using AI or generative tools to accelerate editing and explore creative variations.
- Ability to collaborate with designers, marketers, and social teams to ship content quickly.
- High ownership mindset: You take a brief and turn it into a finished piece. You're proactively sourcing what you need, solving gaps, and shipping finished videos without heavy dependencies.
