AI Solutions Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Prototyping:
• Build cross-stack prototypes using ATLAS AI, Cognite Data Fusion (CDF), and open-source AI frameworks to solve real customer challenges.
• Agent Workflow Design:
• Design and implement multi-agent workflows that combine LLMs, tool use, and reasoning over industrial data.
• Customer-Facing Execution:
• Collaborate directly with customer technical teams to refine use cases and integrate solutions into live industrial environments.
• Interactive UI Development:
• Develop lightweight but powerful user interfaces that effectively communicate value to both executives and operators.
• System Integration:
• Orchestrate integration between GenAI components, CDF data models, and customer systems using scalable software development practices.
• Evangelism & Enablement:
• Translate technical solutions into compelling stories that engage and inspire both internal teams and external customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in software engineering, AI solution architecture, or Gen AI-driven application development.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proven hands-on experience with Gen AI systems (LLMs, embeddings, prompt chaining, agent frameworks).
• Experience building LLM-driven or agent-based applications using frameworks such as LangChain.
• Full-Stack Development:
• Frontend: Proficiency with React or similar frameworks for developing interactive UIs.
• Backend: Strong programming experience in Python or similar languages for data orchestration and API integration.
• Ability to deliver end-to-end functional solutions independently.
• Communication: Strong storytelling, presentation, and collaboration skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Engineering Practices: Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, adhering to testing, version control, and review best practices.
• Mindset: A maker mentality with a passion for rapid iteration, experimentation, and learning by doing.

Bonus Skills:

• UI/UX design sensibilities for demo interfaces and rapid prototyping.
• Understanding of industrial data types (time series, knowledge graphs).
• Experience with Cognite Data Fusion (CDF).
• Familiarity with vector databases and RAG pipelines.
• Cloud-native development experience (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Exposure to industrial analytics or engineering domains.
