About the Opportunity:

We're seeking a talented AI Solutions Engineer to join our Bengaluru hub. This role uniquely combines production stability responsibilities with hands‑on AI solution development. You will ensure that our global production applications run reliably - leveraging AI‑assisted monitoring, automated health checks, and structured operational workflows - while also contributing to the development of intelligent tools, automations, and custom GPTs/Gems that modernize how the platform operates.

You will work closely with multiple teams to gather data, coordinate metadata updates, and translate operational needs into AI‑powered solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong US‑English communicator, analytically sharp, digitally fluent, and comfortable working with both established operations practices and emerging AI technologies. If you are proactive, detail‑oriented, and excited about helping transform a traditional operations environment into an AI‑driven engineering team, this role is an excellent fit.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement AI solutions using Python, MySQL, API‑based AI models, and/or local LLM deployments to solve real production and operational challenges.
• Design, create, and customize GPTs / Gems based on specific business scenarios to automate workflows, solve niche problems, and enhance system intelligence.
• Maintain and operate Custom GPTs / Gems, ensuring reliability, continuous improvement, and alignment with evolving requirements.
• Build automation tools and applications— including lightweight scripts in Python/Bash or Windows desktop apps (using Python/Rust) based on what's most efficient for the scenario.
• Monitor production applications using AI-powered tools and automated scripts, proactively identifying anomalies, performance issues, and system health indicators.
• Perform metadata updates and configuration changes for production systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and smooth functioning across environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to collect, share, and validate datasets or operational information required for application updates and AI workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, leveraging AI tools, logging systems, and custom automation to minimize downtime and improve stability.
• Document processes, automation, and AI workflows to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.

What will you bring to the team:

• Strong proficiency in Python and MySQL with the ability to build AI automations, integrate model APIs, and develop scripts for production operations.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/LLM platforms - including working with API-based models, local AI models (good to have), and creating custom GPTs/Gems for real‑world problem‑solving.
• Experience maintaining and operating AI-driven tools, especially custom GPTs/Gems, including versioning, updates, and improvements.
• Ability to develop tooling and apps across multiple stacks, such as Windows desktop applications (Rust) and automation scripts (Python/Bash).
• Solid understanding of production systems, application monitoring, and the ability to use AI tools or scripts to identify issues and ensure system health.
• Comfort with metadata management and experience making controlled changes to production systems with attention to accuracy and compliance.
• A problem‑solver mindset, capable of choosing the most efficient solution - AI, automation, scripts, or custom apps - based on the scenario.
• Demonstrates strong cross-team collaboration and debugging skills, ensuring seamless data sharing, effective requirement gathering, and coordinated troubleshooting, with a focus on reliability, performance, and proactive issue resolution.
• Clear documentation habits, ensuring workflows, configurations, automations, and AI solutions are easy for the team to maintain and evolve.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of overall experience in Technical Operations/Software Development
• 2+ years of core hands-on experience in Python and MySQL or any other Relational Database (Oracle, Teradata, etc)
• 3+ years of core hands-on experience in Shell Scripting
• Demonstrated experience with AI/LLM platforms
• Knowledge of Ubuntu operating system or any other Linux distro
• BE, BCA, BSC (Computer Science) or equivalent graduation
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
