About the RoleAs an AI Product Designer at FlytBase, you'll shape intuitive, AI-powered user experiences for autonomous drone and robotics products. You will own design workflows end-to-end from initial research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and refining and work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex technical concepts into elegant user interfaces.
What You'll Do- Lead end-to-end product design: research, ideation, wireframes, prototypes, interaction design, and testing.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems with attention to UI details like color, typography, and components.
- Conduct in-depth research on drone operations, regulations, competitors, and user behavior to inform design decisions.
- Translate technical specifications (APIs, SDKs) into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate workflows, generate high-quality outputs, and optimize design iterations.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer success, robotics, business, and marketing teams to align design with product goals.
Key Skills & Qualifications- Strong command of Figma (or equivalent UI/UX tools).
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines and responsive design principles.
- Experience in building and implementing design systems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Claude, Lovable, Vercel V0, Galileo AI, Figma AI plugins).
- Strong research skills & methodologies, with a knack for understanding user needs.
