Senior Machine Learning Engineer (On-site, Pune) Enterprise AI / Software Services
We are a Pune-based technology services firm operating in the Enterprise AI & Software Engineering sector, building production-grade AI/ML solutions for customers across finance, healthcare, retail and manufacturing. The role is fully on-site in Pune and targets experienced engineers who can design, deploy and operate scalable ML systems for real-world business impact.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of end-to-end ML solutions: data ingestion, feature engineering, model development, evaluation and deployment to production.
- Implement and optimise deep learning models (vision / NLP / tabular) using PyTorch or TensorFlow for latency, accuracy and cost targets.
- Build production-grade model serving and inference pipelines using containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services.
- Drive MLOps practices: CI/CD for models, automated testing, model versioning, monitoring, drift detection and rollback procedures.
- Collaborate with product, data engineering and QA to integrate ML capabilities into APIs and backend systems; own performance tuning and SLA adherence for live traffic.
- Mentor mid/junior engineers, define coding and deployment best practices, and contribute to architecture and technical roadmaps.

- 69 years of professional experience building ML/AI systems, with demonstrable production deployments.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics or equivalent is preferred.
