Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated AI/ML Engineer to join our Emerging Technology Practice. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML and Generative AI solutions that address real-world business challenges.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate problem statements into robust, production-ready AI systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on AI/ML professional who enjoys working across the full model lifecycle from experimentation to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop AI-powered solutions using traditional Machine Learning and Generative AI techniques, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and embeddings.

2. Build intelligent AI applications that support analytical, decision-making, and interactive use cases.

3. Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality assurance to support model training and inference.

4. Support experimentation, prototyping, and iterative improvement of AI models across different stages of solution maturity.

5. Implement evaluation, monitoring, and observability mechanisms to assess model accuracy, performance, drift, reliability, and generative output quality.

6. Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and solution architects to ensure effective design and smooth transition of AI solutions into production.

7. Contribute to deployment workflows and operationalization of AI models in partnership with engineering and platform teams.

8. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Machine Learning, Generative AI, evaluation methodologies, and emerging AI tools and frameworks

.Requirements

24 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development, data science, or intelligent application development.

Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern ML/AI libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and GenAI frameworks/APIs.

Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including model training, validation, performance tuning, and evaluation.

Practical experience with Generative AI workflows such as prompt design, embeddings, and output evaluation.

Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in evolving, unstructured environments.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science or related field).

Experience building APIs or backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI or Django is a plus.

Familiarity with vector databases, retrieval-based techniques (RAG), and similarity search is a plus.

Exposure to MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines for model delivery, and model monitoring is desirable.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver scalable, high-quality AI solutions.
