Now, we need a hands-on engineer to be the bridgetaking these cutting-edge models and scale it to global level.
We are looking for a AI Platform Engineer who excels in system architecture, API design, and MLOps. You won't just be deploying models; you will be defining
how they are deployed, scaling inference pipelines, optimizing latency, and ensuring our AI solutions are enterprise-ready. You don't need to be an expert in designing neural network architectures, but you would be responsible for wrapping, hosting, and scaling them effectively.
What you'll do:
- Productionize Innovation: Take ownership of the Last Mile of AI. Collaborate with Data Scientists to refactor research code (Jupyter Notebooks/scripts) into production-grade Python packages and microservices.
- Architect Scalable Inference: Build and maintain high-throughput, low-latency AI/ML model serving systems.
- Optimize AI Infrastructure: Manage GPU resources efficiently, optimize model serving (quantization, caching), and ensure cost-effective scaling of Vector Databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB) and LLM calls.
- Build Robust Pipelines: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines specifically for AI/ML workflows, ensuring automated testing, versioning, and deployment of both code and model artifacts.
- Empower AI Agents: Create the reliable backend infrastructure required for autonomous agents to operate, handling state management, asynchronous task queues (Celery/Redis), and multi-agent orchestration.
- Observability & Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring for AI systems (tracking drift, latency, token usage, and error rates) using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ML-specific tools like MLflow/LangSmith.
Required Skills & Qualifications [Must have]
- Strong Software Engineering Foundation: 5+ years of experience in Python development with a focus on writing clean, modular, and efficient code (OOP, design patterns).
- Production Deployment: Expert-level knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/K8s) for deploying ML applications.
- MLOps & DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar).
- Working Knowledge of AI/ML: Familiarity with the AI landscape. You should understand the difference between a Vector DB and a SQL DB, how embeddings work, and the computational constraints of Large Language Models (context windows, tokens, GPU memory).
Nice-to-have Skills
- API & Backend Development: Proven experience building production-grade RESTful APIs (FastAPI, Flask) or gRPC services. Experience with asynchronous programming is a plus.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP, specifically in deploying serverless functions or managing containerized workloads.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of Model Optimization techniques (Quantization, ONNX, TensorRT) to speed up inference.
- Experience creating RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines in a production environment.
- Familiarity with streaming architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for event-driven AI agents.
