What This Role Is About
You will act as the AI layer inside the marketing team.
Your job is to:
- Use AI to improve how strategies are created
- Speed up research, planning, and execution
- Support performance marketers with insights
- Support designers and content teams with inputs
- Build repeatable AI-driven workflows
Think of this role as marketing + AI + systems, not execution-heavy manual work.
Core Responsibilities
1) AI-Driven Marketing Research & Planning
You will use AI tools to:
- Research industries, competitors, and markets
- Analyse brand positioning and messaging gaps
- Generate campaign ideas and content angles
- Break down audience segments and personas
- Convert raw inputs into structured marketing plans
Your output will help:
- AI Digital Marketing Manager
- Performance Marketing Specialist
- Creative teams
2) AI Support for Campaigns & Performance Teams
You will:
- Analyse campaign data with AI to spot patterns
- Help identify why campaigns are working or failing
- Suggest testing ideas based on insights
- Support performance marketers with audience, copy, and funnel ideas
- Help structure experiments and testing plans
You will not run ads yourself daily, but you must understand how ads and funnels work.
3) AI-Assisted Content & Creative Inputs
You will use AI to:
- Generate hooks, headlines, and content angles
- Assist in copy drafts for ads, landing pages, and social
- Help designers and video editors with:
- Visual concepts
- Creative directions
- Style references
- Improve speed of ideation across teams
You don't need to be a designer or editor, but you must think creatively.
4) Marketing Automation & AI Workflows
You will help build and maintain:
- AI prompt libraries for the team
- Research templates
- Campaign planning frameworks
- Content ideation workflows
- AI-assisted reporting formats
Goal:
Less chaos.
More structure.
Faster turnaround.
5) Cross-Team Collaboration
You will work closely with:
- AI Digital Marketing Manager (strategy & direction)
- Performance Marketing Specialist (ads & funnels)
- Designers and video editors
- Content and social teams
You must be comfortable translating:
- Data into insights
- Ideas into clear outputs
- AI outputs into human-usable work
What You Will NOT Be Responsible For
- Running ads dashboards daily
- Designing graphics or editing videos
- Managing client calls independently
- Posting on social media
- Writing long-form blogs
Required Experience
- 15 years of experience in marketing, growth, or digital roles
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for marketing
- Agency exposure is a big plus
- Comfort handling multiple brands or projects
Must-Have Skills
- Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals
- Ability to think logically and creatively
- Comfortable using AI tools daily
- Clear written communication
- Ability to turn messy inputs into structured outputs
- Comfort working night shifts
AI Tools You Should Be Comfortable With
You don't need to know all of these, but you should already be using some:
- ChatGPT / Gemini / Claude
- AI tools for research and analysis
- AI tools for copy ideation
- AI tools for data interpretation
- Prompt writing and refinement
We care more about how you think with AI than which tool you use.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Basic understanding of Meta / Google ads
- Basic understanding of funnels and landing pages
- Experience with spreadsheets and reporting
- Familiarity with automation tools
- Experience working with creatives or performance teams
