Role: AI Governance & Ethics Expert (including Agentic AI)

What are we looking for
We are seeking a smart, self-driven, high energy and experienced AI Governance & Ethics Expert who will play a critical role in designing, operationalizing, and enhancing enterprise level governance for AI and Agentic AI systems. This role ensures responsible, ethical, and compliant AI adoption by defining governance processes, assessing risks, implementing controls, and driving alignment across technology, risk, and business functions. Product Owner to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for candidates with a deep understanding of AI Governance with experience in the below mentioned areas:
- 810 years of total industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, or AI Risk.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML systems, including Agentic AI and LLM-based architectures.
- Experience in risk management, controls design, and enterprise governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with emerging AI regulations and standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, FS AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience: 810 years industry experience, including 5+ years in AI Governance
What will you do
At Infosys Consulting, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
AI Governance & Controls
- Define and enhance AI governance processes, workflows, and process maps.
- Design, implement, and continuously refine enterprise agentic AI governance frameworks, integrating global best practices for orchestration, oversight, and safe autonomy
- Identify AIspecific risks (including Agentic AI) and support the design and implementation of appropriate controls.
- Participate in controls evaluation and risk & controls selfassessments (RCSA).
- Drive governance lifecycle management activities for AI Agents and AI Use Cases
Issue Management & Risk Alignment
- Identify issues and work with technology, risk, and business stakeholders to track, communicate, mitigate, and remediate them to closure.
- Ensure all processes, risks, and controls are mapped and accurately logged into the system of record.
Metrics, Reporting & Escalation
- Support production of metrics, dashboards, and performance measures to monitor governance adherence.
- Escalate risks, progress, and emerging issues to relevant committees for visibility and accountability.
Regulatory Awareness & Industry Integration
- Monitor evolving AI regulations, standards, and trends, integrating them into governance work plans.
- Run proofofconcepts (PoCs) to evaluate feasibility of emerging AI governance frameworks.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Business Unit Risk function, Risk, TPRM, Technology, and peer governance teams to ensure synergy and coordinated execution across all AI initiatives.
Governance Leadership
- Champion responsible for AI practices and drive continuous improvement of enterprise AI governance, ethics, and management standards across the organization.
