AI & GenAI Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled AI & GenAI Specialist to design, develop, deploy, and operationalize cutting-edge generative AI applications within our manufacturing ecosystem. The ideal candidate will work across model development, data integration, and chat-based application delivery, leveraging Azure OpenAI and modern ML frameworks to build scalable, high-impact AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Model Development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and manufacturing data workflows.

• Design, develop, and fine-tune generative AI models, including LLMs and foundation models.

• Implement, integrate, and optimize Azure OpenAI models for natural language understanding and generation.

2. Chat Application Development

• Build chat-based applications powered by LLMs and Azure OpenAI.

• Develop intuitive conversational interfaces for real-time interaction with manufacturing and operational data.

• Ensure high scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance across applications.

3. Data Integration

• Work closely with data engineers to access, preprocess, and structure manufacturing data streams.

• Integrate real-time and historical data feeds into AI applications for dynamic, context-aware responses.

• Evaluate and implement the best data integration approach based on use-case requirements.

4. Model Deployment & Operations

• Deploy generative AI and machine learning models to production environments (on-prem or cloud).

• Continuously monitor model and application performance, detecting anomalies and tuning models as needed.

• Partner with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment, scalability, and operational maintenance.

5. Data Analytics & Machine Learning

• Apply statistical analysis and classical ML techniques to support model development and evaluate outcomes.

• Work with analytics teams to ensure AI solutions complement KPI reporting and insights generation.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. (2+ years of relevant experience preferred.)

• Strong proficiency in Python, HTML, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI models (e.g., GPT-based LLMs) and NLP workflows.

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud, especially Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI services.

• Ability to break down complex problems, think analytically, and work in an agile and collaborative environment.
