The Role
AI-First Creative Generation and Editing
- Transform Juice-generated scripts, concepts, and briefs into finished, platform-ready static and lightweight motion creatives across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Shorts, display, landing pages, and commerce surfaces.
- Build creatives using AI image generation, inpainting, outpainting, compositing, style transfer, product visualization, and generative design workflows.
- Maintain visual and brand continuity across AI-generated outputs: consistent characters, product representation, backgrounds, typography, color systems, and composition logic.
- Blend AI-generated imagery with stock, product shots, brand assets, packaging renders, typography, and light motion into seamless, high-performing creatives.
- Create multiple design variations per brief — alternate hooks, layouts, headlines, offers, CTAs, and visual styles — ready for creative testing at scale.
- Deliver platform-native assets optimized for each placement and format: 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, banners, carousels, thumbnails, and marketplace creatives.
Design Craft & Creative Production
- Craft scroll-stopping visual hooks that communicate in the first 1–3 seconds of attention, even in static formats.
- Design with strong fundamentals in hierarchy, typography, composition, color, and layout — making every creative feel polished, intentional, and native to the platform.
- Use AI to extend, adapt, and iterate creatives rapidly: outpainting for aspect ratio adaptation, inpainting for cleanup and concept changes, generative fill for new variants, and mockup generation for product storytelling.
- Produce campaign systems, not just one-off assets — ensuring consistency across ads, landing pages, thumbnails, CRM visuals, and commerce content.
- Support lightweight motion and very basic video generation where useful — simple animated assets, cinemagraph-style outputs, AI-assisted product motion, and basic motion variations for testing.
Prompting & Creative Direction
Write structured, iterative prompts across the AI stack:
- Image generation: Midjourney, Nano Banana, Seedance, SDXL, DALL·E, Firefly
- Image editing & enhancement: Photoshop Generative Fill, Magnific, Topaz, Runway
- Light video generation: Veo, Seedream, Runway, Kling, Luma
- Design & production: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, Canva, ComfyUI, Fal.ai
- Direct AI outputs with the vocabulary of a designer and art director — layout, grid, negative space, typography, lighting mood, material texture, product framing, composition style, and brand tone — not just make it look good.
- Document prompting workflows, reusable visual systems, references, and generation learnings so output quality compounds over time.
- Use AI not as a shortcut, but as a creative multiplier: generating concepts, exploring directions, refining outputs, and producing usable assets faster.
Performance Thinking
- Design for conversion. Understand what makes an ad stop the scroll, communicate value instantly, and drive action.
- Collaborate with the team to scale winning concepts into multiple formats and creative directions across acquisition and retention channels.
- Internalize creative testing logic: what to vary, what to hold constant, and why — headlines, composition, product framing, color treatment, offer placement, CTA hierarchy, testimonial treatment, and more.
- Use performance feedback to inform design decisions, reduce creative fatigue, and continuously improve output quality.
Must-have skills
Design & Creative Craft
- Strong fundamentals in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of After Effects, Figma, and Canva for rapid iteration and adaptation.
- Sharp instincts for hierarchy, typography, composition, color, layout systems, and brand consistency.
- Ability to deliver clean, platform-native creatives that feel organic to each feed, placement, and customer journey stage.
- Experience creating high-volume ad creatives, concept boards, landing page visuals, thumbnails, carousels, and commerce-ready graphics.
AI & Prompting Fluency
- Hands-on, daily experience with AI image generation and editing tools.
- Strong grasp of inpainting, outpainting, generative fill, background replacement, compositing, upscaling, retouching, and AI-assisted creative iteration.
- Structured prompting methodology — you document what works, refine your workflows, and build repeatable systems for quality and speed.
- Working knowledge of visual direction principles such as framing, product presentation, lighting styles, art direction references, typography pairing, and continuity in AI-generated assets.
- Basic familiarity with AI-assisted video generation is a plus — enough to create simple motion outputs or adapt static creatives into lightweight animated formats.
Creative & Strategic Instinct
- Strong visual storytelling — you can read a brief and immediately see multiple visual routes.
- Fluency in performance marketing aesthetics: UGC-style statics, D2C ads, problem/solution creatives, offer-led promos, testimonial graphics, listicle concepts, before/after, feature/benefit breakdowns, and marketplace creatives.
- Ability to work fast without sacrificing quality. Speed is a feature, not a compromise.
- Comfortable operating in a highly iterative environment where concept generation, testing, and refinement happen continuously.
