We're hiring freelance Generalists for Outlier to help train AI models. The work is simple: watch videos, annotate them, and provide feedback.
The only requirement is a good command of English (written and spoken). If you can watch a video and describe what you see clearly, you're exactly who we need.
What you will do:
- Watch and evaluate videos, providing clear and structured feedback to improve AI model understanding
- Annotate and analyze content with accuracy, ensuring consistency and attention to detail
- Communicate clearly through written feedback, highlighting strengths and weaknesses in AI outputs
- Assess relevance and factual accuracy of AI-generated responses
- Contribute to prompt and response writing, editing, and refinements to improve model performance
What we are looking for:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to pay close attention to detail when reviewing and annotating content
- Comfortable working with video and text-based tasks
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
Examples of desirable expertise:
- Prior experience in content review, editing, moderation, or annotation
- Background in research, communications, or analytical roles
- Experience with tasks requiring structured judgment and precision
- Demonstrated ability to explain reasoning clearly and objectively
