AI Engineer Intern ( Vetifi )

Vetifi is building AI-powered tools for veterinary doctors and students, including clinical search, medical content extraction, RAG-based knowledge systems, and veterinary AI workflows.
We are looking for an AI Engineer Intern who is interested in AI, NLP, embeddings, RAG, vector databases, and medical/veterinary data processing.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve AI/NLP pipelines.
- Work on veterinary medical content extraction.
- Experiment with embeddings, semantic search, and RAG.
- Help structure datasets for AI model training and evaluation.
- Work with Python and AI tools to improve accuracy.
- Research and test models for veterinary/medical AI use cases.
- Document work clearly and submit code through GitHub.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Interest in AI, ML, NLP, or LLM-based systems.
- Basic understanding of embeddings, transformers, or RAG.
- Ability to learn fast and work independently.
- Strong attention to accuracy.
Good to Have
- Experience with Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, FAISS, ChromaDB, Pinecone, or Qdrant.
- Experience with BERT-based models, medical NLP, or document AI.
- Prior AI/ML/NLP project experience.
