Job Description

General Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Camera/Image Processing Engineer with 0–3 years of experience to join our multimedia team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and productization of camera and imaging features on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms. You will have the opportunity to work across the camera stack, from algorithm development to system integration, while collaborating closely with cross-functional hardware and software teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop camera features and image processing algorithms including object detection, face detection, and tracking.
  • Implement and productize computer vision and machine learning models for advanced imaging applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, and software) during all phases of the product lifecycle—from design and validation to commercialization.
  • Optimize algorithm performance for embedded systems and Snapdragon chipsets.
  • Analyze and debug camera-related issues at the system level on mobile platforms.
  • Contribute to the architecture and roadmap of camera hardware features in Qualcomm chipsets.
  • Support customer engineering teams during commercialization phases to ensure timely deployment of camera features.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in image processing, computer vision, or camera systems.
  • Strong understanding of image and signal processing, statistics, and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with object detection, tracking, or face detection algorithms.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and optionally assembly.
  • Solid grasp of multithreading, RTOS, and OS fundamentals.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities, particularly in embedded or system-level environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with real-time optimization for mobile/embedded platforms.
  • Familiarity with Qualcomm platforms or camera frameworks is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.
  • Prior exposure to camera pipelines and ISP architecture.


Level of Responsibility:

  • Executes tasks under moderate supervision.
  • Works independently on defined tasks with guidance for more complex issues.
  • Interfaces with multiple internal teams and potentially with external customers.
