Position: AI & Automation Specialist

Canadian Limos is seeking a highly capable AI & Automation Specialist to help build, maintain, and expand the systems that power our next phase of growth. This is a hands-on execution role focused on automation, AI integrations, internal tooling, and operational efficiency. It is not a strategy or consulting position. We are looking for someone who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and continuously improving systems that solve real business problems. You will work directly with senior leadership and play a key role in developing the automation infrastructure, AI-powered workflows, and internal tools that support our operations across Canada.

We coordinate executive transportation services across major Canadian cities, including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver. Through a centralized booking and dispatch model, we support corporate clients, executives, event organizers, and international travellers who expect reliability, professionalism, and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

Automation Development

• Build and maintain automation workflows using Zapier and Make.
• Connect business systems through APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
• Reduce manual processes through intelligent workflow design.
• Monitor and troubleshoot existing automations to ensure reliability.

AI Integration & Workflow Design

• Integrate AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, and other large language models into business workflows.
• Assist in developing AI-powered customer service, sales, and operational tools.
• Design and refine prompts that improve workflow performance and output quality.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI across different departments.

Internal Tools & Systems

• Build and maintain internal web applications and operational tools.
• Support development using Node.js, Express, and SQLite.
• Assist with feature enhancements and improvements across internal systems.
• Document systems to ensure maintainability and scalability.

Website & Technical Infrastructure

• Support the development and maintenance of our Next.js website hosted on Vercel.
• Assist with frontend and backend enhancements as required.
• Troubleshoot technical issues affecting performance, integrations, or user experience.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in site functionality and automation.

Data & Platform Integrations

• Manage data flows between platforms including:
• Salesmate CRM
• Moovs
• Google Sheets
• Internal databases
• Marketing platforms
• Ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
• Build and maintain reporting and operational workflows.

Tracking & Analytics

• Implement and maintain conversion tracking systems.
• Support Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other marketing platform integrations.
• Troubleshoot attribution and tracking issues.
• Improve reporting accuracy and marketing visibility.

Success Metrics

• Performance will be evaluated based on:
• Reliability and stability of automation workflows
• Reduction in manual operational processes
• Successful implementation of AI-powered solutions
• System uptime and issue resolution speed
• Accuracy of data integrations and reporting
• Quality of technical documentation
• Delivery of projects within agreed timelines

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Zapier, Make, or similar automation platforms.
• Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with AI tools and LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of Node.js and backend development concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read technical documentation and learn independently.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Reliable internet connection and professional remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js, React, or modern web development frameworks.
• Experience working with CRM systems and operational platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data management.
• Experience implementing conversion tracking and analytics systems.
• Experience building AI-powered internal tools or business applications.
• Previous experience supporting North American businesses.

Working Hours

Preferred Availability:

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Toronto Time (Eastern Time)

This schedule supports collaboration with leadership, operations teams, and external partners across Canada.
