AI Artist / AI Animation Generalist / AI Creator

Golden Jackal Studios is building one of India's first AI-first kids animation studios. We're looking for a hands-on AI Artist / AI Creator / AI Animation Generalist who can take a script and convert it into a polished animated video using modern AI generative tools.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

YOU'LL WORK ON:

• Short-form character animations
• Long-format character-driven series
• Kids nursery rhymes
• Environments, props, and simple 3D elements

Your core responsibility is bringing scenes to life using AI tools across image, video, audio, and VFX. This role is ideal for someone who is creatively inclined, loves experimenting, learning new tools and technology and creating high-quality visual output quickly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Image & Frame Generation:

- Convert scripts and shot lists into base frames

- Use AI Image tools (Nano Banana, Seeddream, ChatGPT Image)

- Maintain character and style consistency

- Clean up faces, hands, lighting, and other artifacts

AI Video Generation:

- Turn frames into smooth video sequences

- Use tools like Kling, Veo (see list below)

- Fix artifacts and continuity issues

- Create wide, medium, and close-up shots

Audio & Voice:

- Generate background music using Suno/Udio

- Create dialogue or voiceovers with ElevenLabs or similar tools

- Sync lips and expressions to dialogue

- Adjust pacing, timing, and tone

Light VFX & Compositing:

- Add simple VFX (particles, lighting, motion, props, character attributes)

- Clean up and enhance scenes

- Improve transitions and shot flow

Pipeline Ownership:

- Document workflows, presets, and styles

- Maintain a library of characters, environments, and assets

- Prepare for automation as AI models evolve

- Keep track of new generative tools and updates

Quality Control:

- Check for character consistency

- Fix visual continuity issues

- Ensure final output is clean, polished, and kid-safe

REQUIRED SKILLS

Tools:

- Gemini / Claude / ChatGPT

- Nano Banana / Seeddream / Midjourney / SDXL / ChatGPT Image / Flux / Higgsfield

- Seedance / Kling / Veo 3 / Runway / Lumalabs / Minimax Hailou

- Topaz / Magnific / Enhancor

- Suno / Udio for music

- ElevenLabs / RVC for voices

- Lip-sync tools

- Basic Blender knowledge (optional but useful)

Creative Strengths:

- Good visual sense (lighting, framing, style)

- Ability to maintain consistent characters

- Good understanding of narrative timing and pacing

- Basic storyboarding awareness

Mindset:

- Loves experimenting with new tools

- Learns fast and iterates quickly

- Detail-oriented

- Creatively adaptable and can ideate

- Comfortable working independently

NICE-TO-HAVE:

- Experience in animation, VFX, motion graphics, or short-form content

- Portfolio with AI animations or reels

- Understanding of 2D/3D animation basics

- Comfy UI and various Open Source Models

- AI Image Lora Training

- Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe After Effects

- Experience creating kids or character-based content

EDUCATION:

- B.Des in Animation/Design (MIT-ID, Srishti, Whistling Woods, Pearl, SID)

- Arena/MAAC/Frameboxx diploma

- BCA/BSc with creative/technical transition

- Self-taught AI creator with strong samples
