Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant General Manager Sales to lead and scale

our sales operations in the EdTech domain. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and

hands-on execution to drive revenue growth, improve conversion metrics, and build high-performing

sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Leadership & Strategy:

Lead and scale Inside Sales, Field Sales, and Key Accounts teams.

Define and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance across regions.

2. Revenue Growth & Business Development:

Drive customer acquisition, upselling, and strategic partnerships.

Identify new markets and growth opportunities within the EdTech space.

Lead negotiations and closure of high-value deals.

3. Team Management & Performance:

Set targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for sales teams.

Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing sales leaders.

Build a results-driven and accountable sales culture.

4. Process, Analytics & Systems:

Ensure effective CRM usage and accurate sales reporting.

Monitor funnel metrics, forecasts, and performance dashboards.

Optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and conversions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Align with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Success teams.

Support GTM initiatives, pricing strategies, and retention goals.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure

Experience Requirements:

712 years of overall sales experience

Minimum 35 years in leadership role

Prior experience in scaling sales teams and driving high-growth targets

EdTech or education industry experience preferred
