POSITION:- AGM- Raw Material Procurement [ Steel Industry Experience candidate Required ]

📍JOB LOCATION:- Kolkata

💼 SALARY:- CTC- 10- 15 Lacs/ Annum

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :--

✅ BE/B-Tech Mechanical/ Metallurgy Engineering

✅ Min. 10- 15 Years experience in raw material procurement, preferably in steel-related industries.

✅ Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

✅ Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES :-------

📌 Procurement & Vendor Management ---

1. Develop and implement raw material procurement strategies

2. Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with domestic and international suppliers

3. Negotiate contracts, pricing and payment terms to achieve cost efficiency

4. Ensure timely procurement of raw materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

5. Monitor supplier performance

📌 Market Analysis & Cost Optimization ---

1. Conduct regular market research to track price trends, availability, and supply risks for steel billets and other critical materials

2. Forecast raw material requirements in coordination with the production and planning teams

📌 Compliance & Documentation ---

1. Ensure procurement activities comply with statutory regulations, company policies, and industry standards

2. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier evaluations

3. Coordinate with finance and legal teams for contract finalization and payment processing

📌 Cross-functional Coordination ---

1. Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

2. Work closely with senior management to align procurement strategies with business growth plans

📌 Technology & Process Improvement ---

1. Leverage digital tools and ERP systems for procurement planning, supplier evaluation, and cost tracking
