Job Description
Support the implementation and maintenance of the QMS, HACCP team member, including document control, record keeping, and change management processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement related to documentation practices and overall QMS effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain specifications for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products, ensuring they meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and update all documentation related to food safety and quality management systems, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
- Provide training to employees on documentation requirements, quality procedures, and food safety protocols.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to verify compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure product integrity.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and auditors during inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures based on inspection findings.
- Complete and submit customer assessment forms and questionnaires regarding food safety and quality management practices
- Monitor changes in food safety regulations and standards, updating documentation and procedures accordingly.
- Oversee quality control processes, including testing methodologies and inspection criteria
- Assist in investigating and resolving customer complaints related to food safety and quality issues
- Conduct reviews of food product labeling to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and auditors during inspections and audits.
The Successful Applicant
A successful AGM Quality should have:
- Graduate/ master's in food technology, Microbiology or Chemistry
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Food Industry of which min 5 years in spice
- Fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam
- Familiar with MS applications, and analytical tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Decision making and Team Handling
- Preferred to be PCQI individual, Lead auditor-BRC
