Position Title: AGM/GM- Business Development- (Facility & Food Services- Healthcare Segment)
Reports To: Director- Business Development
Location:Noida
Role Description:
Responsible for developing and executing the annual business development strategy for the Healthcare segment, with a focus on driving revenue growth from both new large accounts and existing clients. The role includes building and nurturing relationships with prospective large clients, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the organization's market share within the Healthcare segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Responsibilities
- Drive the acquisition of large accounts within the segment by guiding the design of Quality of Life solutions and actively promoting Sodexo's value proposition.
- Lead growth and penetration efforts for new and existing clients by ensuring the smooth and timely execution of the sales management process.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with potential large clients through regular engagement with key decision-makers.
- Build and maintain industry knowledge bases, continually enhancing the organization's understanding of evolving customer needs and requirements.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop the business development plan for the segment in line with the overall business development strategy.
- Identify new growth opportunities within the segment, including potential sectors, companies, and regions to be pursued. In collaboration with the Head of Business Development, support the Strategy and Advisory team in formulating effective strategies to capture these opportunities and drive sustainable segment growth.
- Support in the preparation of the account strategy by providing insights on possible existing and potential key accounts within the segment to be targeted every year for developmental sales
- Analyze the competitive landscape and deliver strategic insights to the Marketing & Communications team to support the development of new offerings and the customization of existing solutions for the segment.
Financial Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Business Development in formulating the annual budget for the team.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly budget reviews to track adherence to the budgets and develop action plans to address any deviations.
- Monitor segment performanceincluding sales growth and profitabilityagainst defined targets.
- Review all contract deviations related to account P&L and compliance with minimum GOP targets for new proposals, and facilitate necessary approvals.
People Management Responsibilities
- Ensure the team is staffed adequately in line with business requirements.
- Drive timely goalsetting, ongoing performance monitoring, and regular feedback for all team members.
- Foster high levels of employee engagement and ensure retention of critical talent.
- Oversee capabilitybuilding initiatives to strengthen team skills and competencies.
- Mentor and coach team members to develop their capabilities and build a strong succession pipeline for key roles.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong ability to link business value to operational and processimprovement efforts.
- Demonstrated experience in driving and managing change initiatives.
- Prior experience in the Facilities Management (FM) industry, Food Services, Project Management, or Retail is highly desirable.
