Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Manager Embedded with deep hands-on expertise in Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, IoT, Cloud, and Systems Integration. This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership and delivery management, responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, customer satisfaction, team performance, and business growth.
The ideal candidate will act as a technical anchor and delivery leader, capable of engaging with customers at an architectural level while ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery across complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Project Leadership :
- Lead and oversee multiple embedded and industrial automation programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, timelines, and budgets
- Own delivery governance, risk management, escalation handling, and mitigation planning
- Ensure compliance with delivery standards, engineering best practices, and quality processes
Technical Leadership (Hands-On)
- Provide hands-on technical guidance in embedded systems, industrial automation, and IoT architectures
- Review and guide embedded software design, system architecture, and integration approaches
- Support teams in resolving complex technical challenges across firmware, RTOS, Linux, protocols, and cloud integration
- Drive technical excellence and adoption of best practices across embedded, edge, and cloud systems
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary client interface for delivery, technical discussions, and escalations
- Understand customer business and technical needs, translating them into executable delivery plans
- Travel to company offices and customer locations in India, USA, Japan, and Singapore, as required
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with customer leadership and engineering stakeholders
KPI & Operational Management
- Own and drive key KPIs including revenue, utilization, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, talent density, and attrition
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and delivery metrics tracking
Strategy & Delivery Excellence
- Define and implement delivery strategies using Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and Quality frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, engineering efficiency, and cost optimization
- Build and scale delivery infrastructure to support long-term business growth
People & Talent Leadership
- Lead performance management, career development, and succession planning across delivery teams
- Build and nurture high-performing, technically strong teams
- Mentor architects, technical leads, and delivery managers
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and COEs & IP Development:
- Establish and scale Centers of Excellence (COEs) for Embedded, Industrial
Business Growth & Pre-Sales Support
- Support business development, customer acquisition, and account growth initiatives
- Participate in solutioning, estimations, technical proposals, and customer presentations
- Ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines
Experience & Technical Skills
- 15+ years of experience in Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, and IoT delivery
- Strong hands-on background in :
- Embedded C/C++, RTOS, Embedded Linux Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, OPC UA, EtherCAT, MQTT, etc.)
- System integration involving hardware, firmware, and cloud platforms
- Experience with IoT Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation for embedded systems
