Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager / Scrum Master with 9–16 years of IT experience to lead and manage full lifecycle project delivery within the banking domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive end-to-end project delivery from inception to closure, ensuring successful execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Apply strong understanding of SDLC and Agile project management methodologies for effective delivery.
  • Perform Scrum Master responsibilities with over 3 years of relevant experience, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and team collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project goals, risks, and progress.
  • Oversee and manage project risks, financials, dependencies, and resource allocations as per customer expectations.
  • Provide progress reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to management and steering committees to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and promote best practices, standards, and quality assurance processes in line with HSBC project methodology.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through sharing tools, templates, and principles for enhancing cost, quality, and productivity.

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in Agile Project Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking and collaboration.
  • Good understanding of SDLC processes and project delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to manage project financials, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Prior experience working with banking or financial services clients.
  • Technical background with sound understanding of IT systems and processes.
