Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agile Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in coaching Agile teams, implementing Agile practices, and driving Agile transformation initiatives in large-scale organizations. The Agile Coach will be responsible for mentoring and coaching teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and enabling our organization to achieve its Agile goals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach Agile teams on the principles and practices of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) to enhance delivery, quality, and collaboration.
  • Implement SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) across various teams, ensuring proper understanding and alignment with SAFe principles and values.
  • Conduct Agile workshops, training sessions, and boot camps to enhance Agile knowledge and skills within the organization.
  • Facilitate PI (Program Increment) Planning, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and other key Agile ceremonies.
  • Mentor and support Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Development Teams in delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to define and refine the Agile transformation roadmap.
  • Identify organizational impediments to success and work with leadership to create effective strategies for overcoming them.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of experimentation and innovation.
  • Utilize metrics and data to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Coach teams on managing and prioritizing backlogs, refining user stories, and improving estimation practices.
  • Act as a change agent to instill a strong Agile mindset across teams and departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Agile coaching, Agile transformation, or related roles. SAFe Agile Certification (e.g., SAFe Program Consultant - SPC, SAFe Agilist - SA).
  • Proven track record of leading Agile transformations in large organizations.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP) and SAFe.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess team maturity and customize coaching approaches accordingly.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in DevOps practices and tools integration with Agile frameworks.
  • Knowledge of other Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., LeSS, Spotify Model, Nexus).
  • Experience in digital and Agile transformations in various domains like Banking, Healthcar
