Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate incoming quotation requests in the quotation system.
  • Prepare quotations for Pump AM requests such as spare parts, SPIR, and upgrades.
  • Review and analyze technical specifications (drawings, material specs, history, etc.).
  • Prepare proposals in a fast-paced environment, managing pricing components and technical reviews.
  • Determine cost and sales price using internal tools, systems, technical insight, and supplier quotes.
  • Explore alternate solutions in collaboration with crossfunctional teams (Sales, Engineering, Planning).
  • Engage with customers, Sales, and Operations on technical issues and attend queries.
  • Ensure SAP approval before receiving orders.
  • Maintain and update proposal logs in a timely manner.
  • Support offsite customer project presentations and kickoff meetings.

Requirements:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 12 years of experience in Commercial Operations or internal quoting roles within an industrial equipment manufacturer (Pumps OR Valves) Mandatory
  • Knowledge of centrifugal pumps, rotating equipment, metallurgy, material specifications, inventory control, and basic sales cycle concepts is an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in IT tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and ERP systems.
  • Strong problemsolving ability, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively across international teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
