Job Description
The Senior SharePoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-grade SharePoint Online solutions within the Digital Platforms ecosystem. The role demands deep technical expertise in SharePoint Online, SPFx, Power Platform integrations, automation, and modern collaboration frameworks within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance digital workplace solutions.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development
Design and develop custom SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx (React), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
Develop custom components such as web parts, extensions, application customizers, and custom forms.
Create and maintain SharePoint Lists, Libraries, Site Designs, Templates, Content Types, Managed Metadata, and site architecture.
Build automation using Power Automate, integrating SharePoint with other M365 services.
- SharePoint Administration & Management
Provide advanced configuration and administration of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services.
Handle site collection architecture, permissions, governance compliance, and lifecycle management.
Ensure security alignment with enterprise standards (IRM, DLP, conditional access).
Design and implement integration solutions using Graph API, REST API, Azure AD app registrations, and external data sources.
Support migrations from legacy systems (SharePoint Server, file shares, 3rd‑party platforms) to SharePoint Online.
Work with migration tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, Mover.io.
- Performance Optimization & Quality Assurance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, UI/UX, workflows, permissions, and site functionality.
Conduct peer reviews, ensure coding standards, and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
Engage with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership, solution consulting, and mentoring to junior developers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
Qualifications
SharePoint & Microsoft 365:
Advanced expertise in SharePoint Online, modern sites, communication sites, and hub sites.
Strong experience in SPFx development using React.
In-depth understanding of SharePoint REST API, CSOM, PnP JS, Graph API.
Programming & Scripting
Proficiency In

Integration & Cloud
Experience with Azure AD, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and secure API integrations.
Knowledge of DevOps pipelines for SharePoint solutions (Azure DevOps/Git).
