AEM Forms Backend Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AEM Forms Backend Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), particularly with AEM Adaptive Forms, and a proven ability to build scalable backend solutions. You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-performance, secure digital forms and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain AEM Forms solutions, focusing on backend logic and integration.
• Design and implement adaptive forms, form data models, and workflows.
• Integrate AEM Forms with backend services using RESTful APIs.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of form solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of overall software development experience.
• Proficient in Java, Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
• Strong experience in backend service integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with AEM Forms Designer, form templates, and document services.
• Good understanding of secure coding practices and performance tuning.
• Experience working in remote/distributed teams.
