Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AEM Content Manager to join our team, working directly with our client, Barclays as part of their in-house team. The role involves managing and deploying brand content using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS platform. The successful candidate will bring the right blend of technical expertise, brilliant AEM proficiency and content management skills as well as good communication and inter-personal skills.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading UK financial institution while leveraging market-leading content management technology. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with a strong understanding of marketing content in a digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing and maintaining Barclays digital content using Adobe Experience Manager
  2. Collaborating with UK-based teams to ensure consistency of content and brand comms across Barclays digital platforms
  3. Interpreting briefs and wireframes, with the confidence, experience and communication skills to ask the right questions to ensure full understanding of the task
  4. Translating briefs and wireframes using the available AEM components and templates
  5. Editing and optimizing content for web pages, landing pages, and other digital assets
  6. Ensuring all content adheres to Barclays brand guidelines and best practice
  7. Maintaining content workflows and approval processes
  8. Attending daily stand-ups with the team with camera on and active participation
  9. Using JIRA and Kanban boards as required
  10. Following required governance and audit processes
  11. Working with stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered to plan and to meet business requirements
  12. Ensuring excellent attention to detail, quality checking and control in conjunction with Barclaycard brand guidelines

Required Experience and Skills:

  1. Excellent AEM skills – at least 3 years of experience with AEM 6.5 or higher
  2. Proven experience in content management, interpreting briefs and translating them using AEM components and templates
  3. Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to get projects right first time
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  6. Effective verbal communication skills in English
  7. Understanding of web standards
  8. Previous experience of working with stakeholders in a corporate environment, ideally in the financial services sector
  9. Effective verbal and written communication abilities in English
  10. Experience in enterprise site-level authoring and framework collaboration.
  11. Basic Excel skills
  12. Basic knowledge of Jira

  2. Adaptability to changing requirements and technologies
  3. Problem-solving skills

You'll have:

  • Relevant degree or diploma.
  • Languages spoken (English).

Good to have:

  • Experience in the Finance sector.
  • Multi-market experience.
  • Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, showcasing a curiosity for exploring its applications and potential impact.
