As anAdvisory Software Engineer - Backend Developer (GoLang)with8-10 years of experience, you will play a key role in designing and developing cloud-based solutions for Pitney Bowes small and medium-sized customer base. You will lead the development of SaaS-based offerings, collaborating closely with architects, UX experts, product managers, and fellow developers. The Job

• Develop optimized, scalable, and modular backend solutions usingGoLang.
• Design and implementhigh-performance microservices architectures.
• Integrate backend components with various web services and databases.
• Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing frameworks and solutions.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experiencein backend development, with at least5+ years of experience in GoLang.
• Strong expertise inmicroservices architectureand API development.
• Experience working withSQL/NoSQL databases(preferably MongoDB), with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Good understanding ofcontainerization technologies(Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience withCI/CD pipelines(GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).
• Hands-on experience working withcloud platforms(AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).

Good to Have

• Working knowledge ofJava-based systems.
• Experience withmonitoring and logging tools(Sumo Logic, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.).
• Familiarity withtelemetry tools(Prometheus, etc.).
