Advisor / Senior Analyst – Catastrophe Modelling

Prepare model inputs including data preparation and data cleansing using SQL and Excel

Analyze exposure data including geocoding and applying accurate modelling assumptions

Ensure correct model configuration and peril settings for catastrophe risk assessment

Generate exposure and loss reports using internal tools and visualization platforms

Run proprietary catastrophe models for customized peril analysis

Perform model sensitivity analysis to assess impact of parameter changes

Respond to stakeholder queries related to catastrophe and terrorism risk assessments

Validate modeled losses through feasibility studies

Monitor and manage model updates and assess their impact on client portfolios

Lead RFP processes using modelling expertise even with limited data availability

Optimize reinsurance structures to improve client profitability

Mentor junior analysts and support their development

Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Coordinate event response activities, reporting, and stakeholder communication
