Position Summary:
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Admission Counselor to join GCQ StudyAbroad. This is a sales-oriented role with clear performance targets. You will support students in selecting study-abroad programs, assist with application and scholarship processes, and provide personalized guidance on their journey to studying internationally. Meeting targets for student enrollments and satisfaction is essential in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Advising: Guide students in choosing programs, understanding admissions requirements, and exploring scholarships.
- Sales and Target Achievement: Actively promote study-abroad options to prospective students, working towards individual and team enrollment targets.
- Application Support: Assist with completing applications, preparing documents, and tracking student progress.
- Outreach: Conduct info sessions, webinars, and consultations for students and their families to generate interest and leads.
- Relationship Building: Maintain positive relationships with partner institutions and academic advisors to foster collaboration and referral opportunities.
- Data Management: Keep accurate records in the CRM and generate reports on student progress and enrollment outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in admissions counseling, sales, or study-abroad guidance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and digital communication platforms.
- Knowledge of international education systems and visa processes (preferred).
