Role Overview
The Admission Counsellor will play a critical role in driving student enrolments by delivering a high-quality, consultative counselling experience to prospective learners. This role requires a blend of relationship management, program advisory, and outcome-oriented conversion capability, ensuring a seamless and engaging admissions journey aligned with the university's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective students through tele-counselling (inbound and outbound) to drive meaningful conversations and programme interest
- Manage walk-in enquiries and deliver comprehensive, tailored guidance on academic offerings and career pathways
- Provide consultative counselling to students and parents, aligning programme selection with career aspirations and outcomes
- Own the end-to-end conversion lifecycle, including timely follow-ups and application closure
- Maintain high data integrity by accurately capturing interactions and pipeline updates within CRM systems
- Contribute to enrolment growth by consistently achieving individual and team targets
- Represent the institution at events such as education fairs, seminars, and outreach initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with outreach and marketing teams to strengthen lead generation and conversion funnels
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualification preferred
- 37+ years of experience in admissions counselling, inside sales, or student recruitment within the education sector preferably Australian destinations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a target-driven, performance-oriented environment
- Proficiency in managing high-volume lead pipelines with a structured and disciplined approach
- High ownership mindset with a focus on delivering an exceptional student experience
