An Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing information about courses, and helping them choose the right program based on their interests and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle student inquiries via calls, emails, and walk-ins
- Provide detailed information about courses, fees, and admission procedures
- Counsel students and parents on career options and program selection
- Follow up with leads and convert them into admissions
- Maintain and update student databases and CRM systems
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams
- Organize and participate in admission drives, seminars, and events
- Achieve admission targets and enrollment goals
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good sales and persuasion abilities
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
- Ability to handle pressure and meet targets
- Problem-solving and counseling mindset
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree (any field; Education/Marketing preferred)
3–5 years of experience in education counseling, admissions, or sales roles
₹4 – ₹8 LPA + incentives (depending on experience and performance)
